The range of Universal Frames A 8274 UR / MUR / UR/ASCII faciliates the simple, rapid
and exact positioning of a large number of pneumatic fingers or cylinders over the device under
test for the automatic operation of keyboards or keyboard operated devices.

The The A 8274 UR universal frames can either be mechanically hung in position over a
conveyor line where the keyboards to be tested pass underneath and are stopped for the test
duration, or mounted to a base plate and hinged for ´desk top´ operation. The frame can be
adjusted in it´s Z-axis to compensate for keyboards with different heights. The position of all
pneumatic cylinders or LED sensors can be adjusted to any position on the X-axis and the rail
to any position inside the frame on the Y-axis. In conjunction with the A 8274 PS pneumatic
system any keyboard or switch cam be operated in any order irrespective of where the
switches or keys are positioned.
