The PhysioTronic control unit UE 870 has been developed using state of the art technology along
with the latest microprocessor design techniques. This technology now enables reliable, precise and
reproducible therapy application. Due to the high degree of technology utilized, the safety of both
the patient and the therapist can be guaranteed at all times.

The UE 870 has been specifically designed for use with the electro-hydrotherapy (Stanger Baths)
and is used to control the galvanic currents in specially designed therapeutic baths. Due to the nature
of this therapy, the unit should only be operated by trained personal.

It should also be noted that the specifications laid down by the MedGV for this type of equipment.
The UE 870 control unit has been tested and certified by the TÜV Rheinland testing laboratory
which is responsible for the testing and approval of electronic equipment used in medical
applications. The unit has been found to be in accordance with their Group 1 specifications for
this area of application.

Cables for all components are included in the basic price. The length of the cables can be varied
according to the customers requirements. The electrode cables supplied with the system must be
wired to the corresponding plugs, also delivered with the system, by the customer.

All components used with this system meet VDE guidelines and the assembly groups are inspected
by the TÜV as required under law.
